Playdough Ingredients
- Two cups of plain flour
- One cup of salt
- Two cups of water
- Two teaspoons of cream of tartar
- Two tablespoons of cooking oil
Method
- Add all the ingredients into a pan.
- Cook mixture over a medium heat, stirring continuously to prevent sticking to the pan.
- When the mixture comes away from the sides of the pan remove from heat.
- Take dough out of pan and knead the warm dough.
It will be dull.
But by adding food coloring to the water you can make playdough in many different colours – red, blue, green and even black.
You can even add some glitter, for sparkly dough fun.
It's easy to make, and long lasting as long as you remember to keep it in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
Once you’ve made your playdough all you need are cutters and rolling pins. Have fun!
